Dimitris studied graphic design in Greece and gained several years of working experience in relevant industry sectors. He received his MSc in Digital Colour Imaging from the University of the Arts London for his work on colour naming within different cultures. After holding a research post in applied colour science at the School of Psychology, University of Liverpool, he worked in the Wellcome Laboratory of Neurobiology, UCL. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Media and Arts Technology at Queen Mary University of London (scholarship). Parallel to his research, Dimitris co-organised two new media festivals in London (NETAUDIO London @ Shunt Lounge and Round House/Koko) and an international scientific congress in Newcastle (AIC 2013 @ The Sage). His work focuses on interactive media, colour vision, visual communication design and colour communication solutions on the Internet. He is a member of AIC, IS&T, BCS, AISB, SDC and the Colour Group (GB).
