Robert Jack is a composer and music technologist with a fascination for how we make and perform electronic music. Having studied for an MA in Applied Mathematics and Music with Nick Fells at University of Glasgow he then went onto complete an MMus in Studio Composition with John Drever and Michael Young at Goldsmiths, University of London. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Queen Mary, University of London as part of the EPSRC funded Media and Arts Technology Programme where he is focusing on the role of tactile feedback in the design of new musical instruments. As a composer and sound designer his works have been performed across Europe. In the spring of 2014 he will be working at the Union Chapel on a project that aims to translate and open up the musical experience of their historical Willis organ to the deaf and hearing impaired community.
