Slow Flow – Te Ia Kōrero |

Julian Priest is a theoretical technologist – something of a contradiction in terms, perhaps, but apt. He’s an interloper between art, science, philosophy and politics – always working towards a just-visible horizon where these worlds meet, somewhere distant, and picturesque, and damn difficult to get to.

His latest excursion – possibly the last in this series – will bring together a group of people with divergent skills and areas of interest to paddle a Waka (pacific island canoe) down the Whanganui River, in search of synthesis.

He’s tentatively agreed to hold an interdisciplinary seminar – probably via Skype as he’s in New Zealand – when he gets back from wherever they get to.
